Built on generations of bush tricks and tips Rough Edges Adventures show cases how we operate in in some of Australia’s most remote locations. From the how to’s and the how NOT too’s! As a family who share the same passion for off grid travel and remote outback exploring we love nothing more than meeting new travelers and like minded people to swap stories over a few frothies’.
Fishing mad every destination we travel to generally ends with a river or beach launch. Remote tinny missions in Far North Queensland or reef sends in the offshore boat, Rough Edges crew love it all! Follow our past, present and future adventures for more!
The Crew
Meet the crew
Our crew consists of Myself (Wylee), my partner Courtney, our two daughters Zanda & our youngest Arizona. We also have my parents Michelle & Bill and my little sister Lily who tag along on a lot of our adventures too (or we tag along with them)!
I grew up going on fishing adventures with my family as a youngster, creating new tracks and finding incredible off grid locations. My love of fishing and adventure grew as I got older and met my partner and then she joined in on the fun. We not long after we had our first daughter Zanda and we started bringing her along on our adventures too. She got to spend her 1st birthday in a beautiful remote area of the Cape. Our family was completed once we had our youngest Arizona and we took her on our first family trip through the Northern Territory in 2021.
We have continued to venture our way around the Cape each year finding new and amazing sometimes untouched lands and are now lucky enough to call Weipa our home after living in Goondiwindi, the Gold Coast & Chinchilla.
We are looking forward to creating new memories and bringing you all along our new adventures.
